In Camporosso, at the foot of Monte Lussari, the morning smells of dew and the evening of resin. Here, where the waters part and peoples, traditions and cultures meet. In this land of borders, shaped by an interweaving of languages, flavours and stories, you are immersed in a healthy cross-fertilisation that over time has forged its traditions.
Around the chalets lies the Tarvisio Forest, one of the oldest forests in Italy: its first written traces date back to the year 1007, when Emperor Henry II donated it to the Bishop of Bamberg. Today it extends over about 24,000 hectares between Tarvisio, Malborghetto-Valbruna and Pontebba, and has crossed a thousand years without ever ceasing to grow.
Here skilled lumberjacks recognise by the sound of the trunk the precious resonance spruces, whose wood is so prized for its acoustic qualities that it is sought after by makers of string instruments. Walking through these woods in silence, lulled by the wind that, resounding among the branches, conducts a melodious orchestra, is a memorable experience you will treasure.
We welcome you with a smile and with the aim of giving you a positive experience, in a harmonious and eco-sustainable setting, designed to enhance the moments of a holiday, scent your days with the essences of our woods and, at the end of your stay, leave you with a pleasant memory to take home in your heart.
