The sunset, the thousand-year-old forest and the silence that rings.

Where the forest resounds and the day stands still.

Ponente is where the sun sets. When the light slips behind the mountains, the sky ignites above the Julian Alps and the great north faces, stern and vertical, are the last thing to fade on the horizon.

Ponente is the chalet you return to as the sun goes down: outside the silent forest, inside time to stop and listen.
